NASHVILLE, Ark.—Charles Lindberg Womack, 80, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Saturday, March 22, 2008.

Mr. Womack was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Murfreesboro, Ark. He was a retired steelworker, a Chris-tian and a Korean War Army Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by one wife, Bobbie N. Womack.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Womack of Tyler, Texas; one son, Michael Womack of Springdale, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Donna Gates of Tyler and Marilyn Akins of Waco, Texas; three brothers, Frank Womack of Bossier City, La., Billy Don Womack of Nashville and James Henry Womack of Marietta, Ga.; three sisters, Geraldine Carruthers of Denver, Perlie Mae Jackson of Nashville and Leta Faye Bosley of Monroe, La.; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Latimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, McCaskill, Ark.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
