Brenda Joyce Fort Williams, 53, of Columbia, S.C., died Friday, March 21, 2007, in Columbia.

Ms. Williams was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Texarkana, Texas. She was retired from the State of Florida and a member of Mount Orange Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Eric Williams of Norfolk, Va.; one daughter, Rashida Nicole Wililams of Fort Jackson, S.C.; three brothers, Herman Fort of Baltimore, Md., Keith Fort of Texarkana and Shaun Fort of Orlando, Fla.; seven sisters, Shirley James, Kurrey Allen, Vanessa Buchanan and Verna Cellers of Texar...
