CHARLIE HARPER

Charlie E. Harper, 63, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, March 24, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Harper was born June 13, 1944, in Deberry, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and member of Sunset Masonic Lodge No. 1 and St. Paul Baptist Church, where he was an usher and trustee.

Survivors include his wife, Marva Campbell Harper of Texarkana; two daughters, Tonya Harper-Williams and Tamela Lynnette Harper of Madison, Ala.; his mother, Bertha Lee Macon of Texarkana; two brothers, Frankie Harper of Safford, Ariz., and Jerry Maco...
