Rosie Laura Dickens, 78, of Maud, Texas, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in a Granbury, Texas, nursing home.

Mrs. Dickens was born Dec. 15, 1929, in Maud. She was a librarian’s assistant at Maud Public Library and a member of Maud Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Van Dickens.
