HOPE, Ark.—Betty Jane Foster, 97, of Dallas, formerly of Hope, died Friday, March 28, 2008, in Dallas.

Mrs. Foster was born May 1, 1910, in Houston. She was a school teacher, Sunday school teacher, member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Daughters of the American Revolution, Cosmopolitan Club, Retired Teachers, Business and Professional Women’s Club, Historical Society and First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Autrey E. Foster; and one son, Marion Franklin Foster.
