MALVERN, Ark.—Hoover Pearson, 76, of Malvern died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Pearson was born March 8, 1932. He was retired from ChamberDoor Industries and Teeter’s and a member of Bethel AME Church, where he was an usher, class leader and honorary steward. He was preceded in death by one stepson, John W. Matlock.
