ESTER MITCHELL

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Ester Marie Mitchell, 83, of Hooks, Texas, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Aug. 31, 1924, in Burkburnett, Texas. She was an employee of Hooks Independent School District and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church, Hooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Mitchell; and one son, Devin Kent Mitchell.
