MARGARETTA DIXON-SMITH

Margaretta Dixon-Smith, 75, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in a local hospital.

Ms. Dixon-Smith was born July 10, 1932, in Texarkana. She was a nurse’s aide and a member of Roberson Temple COGIC, where she was a Sunday school superintendent, teacher and choir member. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. William H.T. Smith; and one son, Oscar Daniels.

Survivors include three sons, Arthur Daniels of Texarkana, Christopher Daniels of New Boston, Texas, and Cedric Daniels of Beaumont, Texas; two daughters...
