WALTER PERKINS

ATLANTA, Texas—Walter T. Perkins, 78, of Bivins, Texas, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Perkins was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Bivins. He was a self-employed mechanic and a Christian. He was preceded in death by one son, Walter Douglas Perkins; and one grandson, Jesse Wayne Perkins.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Perkins of Bivins; one son, Ricky Perkins of Bivins; three daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy Birtcher of Mena, Ark., and Patsey and Randy Jones and Deborah Plagens of Bivins; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;...
