Catherine Means, 91, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Means was born April 20, 1917, in Hope, Ark. She was retired from Moses Volkswagen and a member of Walnut Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Don Gunn and J.B. Means.

Survivors include one brother, Denvil Ross of Hope; two stepsons, John B. Means Jr. of Plantersville, Texas, and Carol Means of Wake Village, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
