CHARLES FOGLEMAN

Charles “C.B.” Fogleman, 94, of Powderly, Texas, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Fogleman was born Oct. 2, 1913, in Boxelder, Texas. He was retired from Bell Helicopter, a member and deacon of Salem Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrie Neal Chaney.

Survivors include his wife, Alta Janell Fogleman of Powderly; one son, David Verdecanna of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Joey Hoskins of Powderly; one sister, Deanie Floyd of Boxelder; one special friend, Opal Preston; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Clarksville Funeral Home with John Griswood officiating. Burial will be in Boxelder Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon Friday at the funeral home.
