JAMES RUSSEY SR.

HOPE, Ark.—James Russey Sr., 87, of Mineral Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Russey was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Okolona, Ark. He worked for Weyerhaeuser and was a member of Lily Works Lodge. He was preceded in death by one grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Queen Esther Nelson Russey of Mineral Springs; two daughters, Wanda Logan and Bernice Jackson of Mount Morris, Mich.; three sons, James Russey of Flint, Mich., Willie Ray Russey of Shreveport, La., and Freddie Russey of Mineral Springs; one siste...
