JAMIE SMITH

Jamie Paul Smith, 52, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Smith was born Jan. 18, 1956, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a former employee of Miller Clayborn Oil, a Baptist and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Jamie Smith Jr. of New Boston, Texas, and Chris Smith of Texarkana; two daughters, Tracy Freeman of Houston and Jessica Smith of Texarkana; his mother, Julia Sudberry of Texarkana; and four grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Cheyenne Smith, Jacob Smith and Cedric Conkleton of Texarkana.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at East Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

The family will be at 139 Boondock Lane, Texarkana, Texas.
