CHARLES COLE

JEFFERSON, Texas—Charles Raymond Cole, 58, of Jefferson died Thursday, April 24, 2008, in a Vivian, La., hospital.

Mr. Cole was born April 10, 1950, in Houston. He was a purchasing agent and a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Irving Cole; four sons, Felix La’Mon Cole, Cornet Colbert Sr., Derrick Irving and Jeremiah Irving; his mother, Azzie Lee Cole; three brothers, Daniel Ray Cole, Ronald Eugene Cole and Stanley Wayne Cole; two sisters, Bonnie Faye Andrews and Ida Mae Anderson; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be noon Saturday at Jefferson Junior High School Auditorum with the Rev. Winston McCowan officiating. Burial will be in Judea Cemetery under direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Visitation will be noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
