ATLANTA, Texas—Doris William Hunter, 79, of Balch Springs, Texas, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at her home.

Ms. Hunter was born March 8, 1925, in Atlanta.

Survivors include two sons, Hardy White Jr. of Tyler, Texas, and Jimmie L. Hunter of

Dallas; two daughters, Thelma H. Daniels and Vhelma H. Ford of Balch Springs; three

brothers, Cecil Williams and Dwight Williams of Flint, Mich., and Winfred Williams of

Minn.; three sisters, Pauline Fedrick and Isabel Black of Atlanta, and Elzie Garner of Houston; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Shady Grove CME Church with Elder Herbert Harper officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under direction of Community Mortuary.

Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and viewing will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
