FLOYD LEVERETT
HOPE, Ark.—Floyd Donald Leverett, 85, of Hope died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital.
Mr. Leverett was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Blevins, Ark. He was a former president and salesman for Logan’s Grocery Co., member and elder of First Presbyterian Church, Men’s Bible Class and an Army Air Corp veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Davis Leverett, in 1995. Survivors include one daughter, Amelia Leverett of Hope; two nieces and nephews-in-law, Toni and Ronnie Ingram of Texarkana, and Nancy and Robert Dean of Booneville, Ark.; one nephew and niece-in-law, Jeff and Brenda Davis of Camden, Ark.; his uncle and aunt, Jake and Jeanette Foster of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Phil McLarty and the Rev. Wayne Parker officiating. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
