DAINGERFIELD, Texas—Lawrence C. Connally, 77, of Daingerfield died Friday, May 2, 2008, in an Omaha, Texas hospital.

Mr. Connally was born May 10, 1930, in Daingerfield. He was a retired painter, Mason, member of Mount Zion CME Church and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Ella Connally of Daingerfield;

six sons, Clifton Connally of

Mount Pleasant, Texas, Marvin Terry Connally of Pensacola, Fla., Billy Ted Connally, Timothy Harper, Lonell Sparks and Julius Smith of Barstow, Calif.; two daughters, Jan Patrick of Aurora, Colo., and Sherri Pickett of Barstow; two brothers, Rodney Connally of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bobby Wayne Connally of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Dorothy Faye Phillips of Oklahoma City and Betty Evans of Wichita Falls, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion CME Church with the Rev. Q.T. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Naples, Texas, under direction of Harmon Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to

8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
