JOY CHANDLER
HOPE, Ark.—Joy Carlton Chandler, 60, of Nashville, Ark., died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital. Mrs. Chandler was born Dec. 7, 1947, in Bodcaw, Ark. She was a bookkeeper and a member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Chandler of Nashville; two sons, David Riley Lemley and Steve Lemley of Texarkana; two daughters, Kelly Park of Hope and Megan Chandler of Nashville; three brothers, Dickie Carlton, Larry Carlton and Randy Carlton of Bodcaw; one sister, Jamie Prince of Bodcaw; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Online registration is at www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com.
