ATLANTA, Texas—Mathew Shane Kennedy, infant son of Zach and Dawn Kennedy, died Monday, April 28, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mathew was born April 28, 2008, in Texarkana, Texas.

Other survivors include his grandparents, Trish and Donnie Mathews of Lufkin, Texas, and George and Debbie Kennedy of Atlanta; his great-grandparents, Jewel Kirkland of Lufkin, Frankie Kennedy of Atlanta and Anita Mebane of Snyder, Texas; his aunt and uncle, Chris and Melanie Murray of Lufkin; and a number of other relatives.

Private services will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
