NETTIE HARVEY

Nettie Francis Harvey, 78, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Harvey was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Hope, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Harvey of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tammy Harvey of Texarkana; three daughters and one son-in-law, Jean and Dwight Creed and Judy Dunn of Texarkana and Dorothy Abston of Minnesota; one brother, Carl Smith of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. Rusty Gilliam officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, downtown.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at 725 Arizona, Wake Village, Texas.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Texarkana Animal Shelter.
