RUTH GLENDINNING

ATLANTA, Texas—Ruth Draper Glendinning, 80, of Atlanta died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in Atlanta.

Mrs. Glendin-ning was born Nov. 13, 1927, in Atlanta. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Glendinning.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Yates of Houston and Guy Meredith of Avery, Texas; three brothers, Joe Draper of Atlanta, David Draper of Tyler, Texas, and Bonny Draper of Wills Point, Texas; two sisters, Kathryn Wright of Vidor, Texas, and Linda Rube of Queen City, Texas; two grandchildren, Will Yates and Samuel Meredith; one great-grandchild, Jude Yates; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hanner Funeral Service with the Rev. Samuel Draper officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
