STAMPS, Ark.—C.W. Thomas Jr., 70, of Doddridge, Ark., died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Thomas was born June 10, 1937, in Doddridge. He was a retired heavy-equipment operator and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Doddridge.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Thomas of Doddridge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Tina Thomas and Mark and Patty Thomas of Atlanta, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Thomas of Crockett, Texas, and Winston Thomas of Henderson, Texas; two sisters, Marie Thomas of Barnsdall, Okla., and Martha Crabtree of Doddridge; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary O’Day officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
