DE QUEEN, Ark.—Delores Lalia Dixon, 71, of Lockesburg, Ark., died Monday, May 5, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Dixon was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Lockesburg. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Utah Dixon; and one grandson, Donavan Sharp.

Survivors include four daughters, Diane Oglesby of De Queen, Mary Buck of Smithville, Okla., Lucretia Churchwell of Broken Bow, Okla., and Annette Ward of Dierks, Ark.; one son, Mike Dixon of Lockesburg; two brothers, Otho Houser of De Queen and Delwin Houser of Lockesburg; one sister, Othetta Chillcoat of Lockesburg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Old Union Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
