DE QUEEN, Ark.—Johnnie “Bud” Goins, 86, of De Queen died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Goins was born March 11, 1922, in Horatio, Ark. He was retired from Somerville & Son Tie Co. and a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Merle.

Survivors include two sons, Johnie L. Goins of Paris, Texas, and Joe Goins of Lockesburg, Ark.; two daughters, Sue McDonald of Lockesburg and Debbie Hanney of De Queen; one brother, Bill Cody of Jonesboro, Ark.; three sisters, Belle of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Doreen and Bonnie of Fort Smith, Ark.; si...
