LINDA VELVIN

Linda Joyce Velvin, 53, of New Boston, Texas, died Sunday, May 4, 2008.

Ms. Velvin was born April 10, 1955, in Topeka, Kan. She was a registered nurse for Titus Regional Medical Center, Mount Pleasant, Texas, and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Anderson.

Survivors include her father, James Rice of Garland, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Les McCraw of DeKalb, Texas; one granddaughter, Cesalie Anderson of Fort Worth, Texas; one special friend, Ann Halter of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Steven Smith officiating. Entombment will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at the home of Linda Velvin, Malta, Texas.
