LOUISE CARRAS

Louise Carras, 84, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, May 5, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Carras was born Oct. 31, 1923, in Hosston, La. She was retired from Wadley Regional Medical Center and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Carras.

Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ruth and James Riddle of Texarkana and Marie Garrett of Plano, Texas; one brother and three sisters-in-law, Barney and Tamar Pennington and Ivy Pennington of Texarkana and Gerry Griffith of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. William V. Garner and Norm Melton officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
