STAMPS, Ark.—Mildred Owens, 93, of Stamps died Monday, May 5, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Owens was born Aug. 18, 1914, in Emerson, Ark. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Stamps.

Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Malvin and Obalene Christie of Lewisville, Ark.; three nieces, Ann Burns of Lewisville, Mona Adkisson of Seminole, Okla., and Tara Beckham of Weatherford, Texas; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wilson Cemetery, Lewisville, with the Rev. Lane Garner officiating. Burial will be under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
