Elma Lee Crawford, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, May 2, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Crawford was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Bradley, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond P. Harper, Arthur Stinger and Henry Crawford Jr. of Texarkana; two daughters, Mary Monroe and Shirley Cooks of Texarkana; two brothers, Sammie Noble and L.C. Noble of Texarkana; three sisters, Jessie Fields of Texarkana and Niomia Tyler and Allice Faye Williams of Houston; 22 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvester Hardiman officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
