Mae F. Rodgers, 84, of Hooks, Texas, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Ms. Rodgers was born March 15, 1924, in Rockdale, Texas. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include two daughters, Rae P. Moon of Texarkana and Johnnie F. Smith of Midwest City, Okla.; two brothers, L.B. Boyd of Oklahoma City and Clifford Boyd of Norman, Okla.; six grandchildren, Tracy Smith of Oklahoma City, Wayne Smith of Bethel, Okla., Vicki L. Sanders and Ghislane D. Jeffries of Texarkana, Sharon L. Brewer of Richardson, Texas, and Erie L. Samuels of Hooks, Texas; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at South Garden Pavilion in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
