HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Mary Ervin Grant Kennemer, 95, died Monday, May 5, 2008.

Mrs. Kennemer was born Feb. 17, 1913, in Clarksville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Raphael Kennemer;and one son, John Charles Kennemer.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Theda June and Purvis Welch and Brenda Joyce and James Gaddis; one son and daughter-in-law, Carroll Grant and Judy Kennemer; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Avinger, Texas, with the Revs. Dennis Gibbons, Shawn Thrapp and Bob Crowder officiating. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, Winnsboro, Texas, under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
