MINNIE GREEN
STAMPS, Ark.—Minnie Lee Green, 95, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Monday, April 28, 2008, in a Phoenix nursing home.
Ms. Green was born Sept. 28, 1912, in Ozan, Ark. She was a former member of Freeman Chapel CME Church, Ozan, and a member of Senior Citizen Twilight Hour Club, American War Mothers Organization and Hays Tabernacle CME Church, Los Angeles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Green; and one son, Bobby Joe Green. Survivors include two children, Alma Walker of Texarkana and Teretha Green-Wardell of Phoenix; two sisters, Oree Boyd and Gracie Larkins of Texarkana; one brother, Jessie Walker of Los Angeles; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Miles Chapel CME Church with the Rev. Anthony Ware officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Ozan, under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
