Zipporah Williams, 56, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Williams was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Portsmouth, Va. She was a substitute teacher and a member of Atlanta Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Williams, Ch.D, of Texarkana; one son, Ian Patrick Williams of Cleveland, Miss.; one daughter, Nikia Williams of Greenville, Miss.; her father, Will Roy Hill Sr. of Portsmouth; two brothers, Freddie Hill of Atlanta, Ga., and Will Roy Hill Jr. of Portsmouth; and four sisters, Jean Carter and Karen Adams of Washington, D.C., Arletha Jones of Chesapeake, Va., and Doretha Willis of Portsmouth.

Closed-casket services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Atlanta Street Church of Christ with Lloyd Clay Harris officiating. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery, Suffolk, Va., under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
