PRESCOTT, Ark.—Linda Pearl Almond Racanello, 85, of Arlington, Texas, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in an Arlington nursing home.

Mrs. Racanello was born Jan. 2, 1923, in Prescott. She was an accountant as Showboat Restaurant and Hotel, Greenwich, Conn., and a member of Calvery Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Racanello.

Survivors include three daughters, Diane Seller of Port Chester, N.Y., Judy Zimmerman of Irving, Texas, and Roslyn Racanello of Mechanicsville, Md.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Laneburg Baptist Church, Laneburg, Ark. Burial will be in Laneburg Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
