LINDEN, Texas—Sylvanious “Bo” Green, 82, of Linden died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Green was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Linden. He was a truck driver for Texas Department of Transportation, a deacon of Pinecrest Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Green; three sons, Manvel Green, J.H. Green and Ronnie Green of Linden; two brothers, Arden Green of Clayton, Texas, and Charles Green of Ferris, Texas; five sisters, Dean Choice of Carthage, Texas, Judith Robinson of Clayton, Edebra Strawn of Fulton, Miss., Beverly Key of Austin and Betty McCord of Marietta, Texas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Dr. Bryan Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
