ELLEN COLEMAN

Ellen B. Coleman, 95, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Coleman was born Nov. 23, 1912, in Athens, La. She was a seamstress, a homemaker, and a member of Grave Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Coleman.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Vivian Coleman of Maud, Texas, and Fred and Sylvia Coleman of Montgomery, Texas; one sister, Mary E. Brosius of Little Rock; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with Orville Farrin officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery, Simms, Texas.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at No. 5 Morning Drive, Texarkana, Ark.
