ROSA NOWLIN

Rosa Lee Nowlin, 78, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, May 9, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Nowlin was born Oct. 6, 1929, in Miller County, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Clyde Nowlin.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Roscoe Jr. and Alice Nowlin and Delmer and Lee Nowlin of Texarkana; four brothers, G.W. Hensley, Steve Hensley, Jeffrey Hensley and Timmy Hensley of Genoa, Ark.; two sisters, Shirley Griffith of Texarkana and Georgia Hensley of Genoa; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene with Roy Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Sylverino Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
