JAMES SMITHSON

James Ray Smithson, 48, of Nash, Texas, died Friday, May 9, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Smithson was born April 1, 1960, in New Boston, Texas.

Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Frank McElwee of Texarkana and Eileene and Carlos Rhea and Reta and Bruce Crouch of DeKalb, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Rodger and Helen Smithson of New Boston; and a number of of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Richard White officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
