HOPE, Ark.—Tony Lynn Stroud, 50, of Blevins, Ark., died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Stroud was born Oct. 29, 1957, in Hope. He was a painter and a member of First Assembly of God, Hope.

Survivors include his wife, Melanie Morrow Stroud of Blevins; one son, Caden Lynn Stroud of Blevins; his mother, Jean Stroud of Emmet, Ark.; one brother and sister-in-law, Howard Lester and Toni Stroud of Centerton, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Vicki Jean Stroud and Ronnie Carlton of Emmet; two aunts, Lola Golden and Gladys Stroud of Hope; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Thomas and Jerry Stroud officiating.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a trust fund for his son at BancorpSouth, 200 S. Elm St, Hope, AR 71801.
