Billy Carrol Adams, 65, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Adams was born May 10, 1943, in Wellington, Texas. He was retired from Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Adams.

Survivors include one daughter, Annette Adams of Texarkana; one niece, Melissa Page of Texarkana; one nephew, Jason Page of Fouke, Ark.; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 4 p.m. Wednes-day at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Hal Haltom officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
