BOONEVILLE, Ark.—Clyde Leslie, 87, of Booneville died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.

The Rev. Leslie was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Bingen, Ark. He was a retired minister of Eastwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Christopher Ryan Leslie.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of Booneville; three sons, James Leslie of Booneville, Paul Leslie of Conway, Ark., and Daniel Leslie of Enterprise, Ala.; one daughter, Dorothy Parsons of Jacksonville, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eastwood Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ozan Cemetery, Nashville, Ark., under direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
