WACO, Texas—Michael Wayne “Mike” Downs, 53, of Waco died Friday, May 9, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Downs was born June 11, 1954, in Texarkana, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy; two children and spouses, Tiffany and Michael Chase and Summer and Christopher Downs; his mother, Hazel Downs; one sister, Diane Sajwaj; two grandchildren, Hayley Chase and Hannah Chase; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 7 p.m. today at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after the services at the funeral home.
