HOPE, Ark.—Stevie L. Dean Jr., 18, of Hope died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Dean was born Jan. 27, 1990, in Texarkana, Texas. He was employed with James Pafford and a member of First Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by four grandfathers, Ernie Lansdown, James Dean, Erik Warren and John Henry Carlton.

Survivors include one daughter, Kailey Ann Mercier Dean of Hope; his father and stepmother, Steven L. and Wanda Woods Dean Sr. of Hope; his mother and stepfather, Erika Warren and Michael Adkins of Dallas; two stepmothers, Stephanie Dean of Hope and Allison Wall of Emmet, Ark.; seven brothers, Christopher Hicks, Justin Dean, Wyatt Dean and Jeremy Fortner of Hope, Darrell Dean of Prescott, Ark., Aaron McBride of Springhill, Ark., and Cody Wall of Emmet; two sisters, Rachel Marsh of Prescott and Ashley Woods of Hope; two grandmothers and one grandfather, Dorothy Lansdown and Jamie and Paul Prince of Bodcaw, Ark.; and one great-grandmother, Pearl Carlton of Bodcaw.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednes-day at First Assembly of God with the Revs. Bobby Ragan and Jerry Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Saratoga Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
