LINDEN, Texas—Edwin L. Potocki, 88, of Linden died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Potocki was born April 8, 1920, in Calumet City, Ill. He was retired from Lone Star Steel, a Catholic and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by two wives, Catherine Short Potocki and Janie Potocki.

Survivors include one brother, Richard Potocki; and a number of other relatives.

Burial will be in Gary Diocesan Cemeteries, St. John-St. Joseph, under direction of Burns-Kish Funeral Home, Hammond, Ind. Local arrangements are under direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home.
