DE QUEEN, Ark.—L.P. Elliott Jr., 80, of De Queen died Monday, May 12, 2008, in Little Rock.

Mr. Elliott was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Broken Bow, Okla. He was retired from the Air Force, a member of SAU Board of Trustees, Lions Club, Salvation Army, Quorum Court and First United Methodist Church, De Queen, and a Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jo Mills Elliott; one son, Roger Elliott; and one daughter, Barbara Ann Elliott.
