HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Lance Logan Baker, 7, of Hughes Springs died Monday, May 12, 2008.

Lance was born Jan. 19, 2001, in Longview, Texas. He was a student with Hughes Springs Elementary.

Survivors include his parents, Donisha and Jonathon Baker of Hughes Springs; his grandparents Pamela and James Pipes of Hughes Springs and Cindy Baker of Longview; one great-grandmother, Edna C. Baker of Latch, Texas; one aunt, Crystal Baker of Longview; and three uncles, James Pipes of Hughes Springs and Timothy Baker and Benjamin Baker of Longview.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Sardis Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
