Ruth Greenwood, 90, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, May 12, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Greenwood was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Syracuse, N.Y. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Greenwood.

Survivors include three sons, Harry T. Greenwood of Hooks, Texas, and Robert C. Greenwood and Richard K. Greenwood of Syracuse, N.Y.; two daughters, Lorraine J. Lumia of Canastota, N.Y., and Carolyn A. Buck of Tully, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
