NEW BOSTON, Texas—Charles Edward Moye Sr., 64, of New Boston died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Moye was born Jan. 23, 1944, in Texarkana. He was a self-employed automotive body man and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Dean Bohon Moye.

Survivors include one son, Charles Moye Jr. of Texarkana; three daughters and two sons-in-law, DeeDee and Jake Rawson of Texarkana and Alice and Donnel Smith Jr. and Carol Page of New Boston; one sister, Jo Alice Whiseant of Taylor, Ark.; two brothers, Bobby Moye of Texarkana and David Moye of Murfreesboro, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Nash, Texas, with Dr. James Otto Hilton and the Rev. Weyman Rodenheaver officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.

There is no set visitation.
