DUDLEY STEPHENS

MALVERN, Ark.—Dudley L. “Steve” Stephens, 85, of Glen Rose, Ark., died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Stephens was born June 14, 1922, in McCaskill, Ark. He was an ambulance driver for Benton Service Center and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Ruth Moore; and one great-granddaughter, Ivy Lynn Gail Balding.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Patsy and Ron Easterlin, Alice Balding and Jennifer and Ralph Hilterbrand of Glen Rose, and Bicky McNeese of Conway, Ark.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church with Gary Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Fairplay Cemetery under direction of Regency Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
