GERALDEAN WEST

DEKALB, Texas—Geraldean West, 78, of Simms, Texas, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. West was born Dec. 31, 1929, in Bates, Okla. She was a minister and a member of Fairland Holiness Church.

Survivors include one son, Tom West of Simms; one daughter, Darlene Place of Hurst, Texas; two brothers, Floyd Brown and Darrell Brown of Turlock, Calif.; one sister, Betty Lee Ball of Turlock; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, John and Kim Place of Simms and Shane West of Turlock; and one special friend, Rebecca Price of Simms.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle House officiating. Burial will be in Wards Creek Cemetery, Simms.
