ILA MAE MAYS

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Ila Mae Mays, 97, of Ashdown died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in a local hospital.

Ms. Mays was born Nov. 8, 1910, in Lockesburg, Ark. She did domestic work and was a member of Dorcas Missionary Club and Greater Mount Zion Church.

Survivors include one sister, Pecolia Smith of Los Angeles; and one niece and nephew-in-law, Joyce and Fred Cook of Ashdown.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Zion Church with the Rev. Anthony Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Petonville Cemetery.
